Vineeta Hariharan is a distinguished public policy leader, strategic advisor, keynote speaker, and author whose career spans nearly three decades at the highest levels of India's governance, development, and corporate sectors. A thought leader in nation-building, she serves on the board of studies of leading global institutes, mentors social foundations, and holds advisory positions across organisations working to empower women, strengthen rural networks, and spread innovation.

Vineeta was conferred the Woman of Excellence Award twice by the Indian Achiever's Forum,an honour celebrating individuals of strong will and dedication who stand apart in their field. She holds a Master of Planning from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi; a Master in Public Administration from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore (2010–11); a UN Habitat Fellowship from Erasmus University, Rotterdam; and an Executive Programme in Business Management from IIM Calcutta.

After a decade in senior roles across India's public and private sectors, her mid,career training at NUS broadened her perspective on policymaking, especially in Southeast Asia. Since 2012, she has worked with bilateral and multilateral institutions,World Bank,engagingincluding DFID and the World Bank,engaging with senior bureaucracy and political leadership in policy formulation and leading flagship programmes across Urban, Rural, and Enterprise development ministries.
